As the weather is beginning to cool off and us Albertans start to hibernate, there’s something truly special about having a cozy fireplace to warm you up in your home. Queue the fire emoji as Apex Fireplaces did just that with this year’s Kinsmen Dream Home design. Read on below to learn more about the magnificent people of Apex Fireplaces and how they share their warmth with the Central Alberta community all year long.

Apex Fireplaces is a fairly new company in Red Deer but Mark Milne has been operating his Masonry Company for over 16 years here in Central Alberta. Mark has set out to create a company with community spirit, employee loyalty, and service that goes above and beyond. Apex Fireplaces and Apex Masonry are a dream team when it comes to fireplace sales, design, and installation.

“We offer a one-stop shop for your projects, with the growth of adding Angela Blair as a consultant to our team we now can offer more insight and more service to our already long and growing list.”— Santana Friesen

When it comes to the Kinsmen Dream Home, they installed a linear gas fireplace that has a beautiful accent light system and also created a light rock grey sandstone finish on the feature wall. The end product is absolutely stunning and with the intensive labour that’s required to achieve this monolithic stone finish, we can’t thank them enough for this addition to the home.

“Apex Fireplaces is all about community and charity, we believe that even in successes you need to give back. Supporting Central Alberta is one of the ways we can say thank you to all the wonderful friends, and clients we have had the pleasure of working with,” explained Friesen.

It should be noted that Apex Fireplaces loves what they do and they pass the experience to their customers. We couldn’t help but smile when we heard about their summer charity BBQ for Parkland School. “We included a dunk tank and a BBQ, lots of memories of Mark and Matt hitting that ice cold water again and again. The employee’s donated a lot of money, to dunk their boss,” Friesen said.

Thank you again for your hard work and exemplary commitment to the 2016 Kinsmen Dream Home, Apex Fireplaces. This home would not be the same without you.
