The 2017 Dream Home has launched and, as always, we are extremely grateful for all of community support and help we continually receive to make the Dream Home come to life.
Giving your time to volunteer is an important commitment. However, what’s arguably even more important is that you are volunteering for a cause you truly love and care about, or a cause that you could adequately apply your existing skills to.
Drum roll please …. The 2017 Dream Home is close to completion and we finally have a photo of the exterior to show you, courtesy of Larkuan Homes Ltd.
As a dedicated Kinsmen (or Kinette), you know the importance of volunteering and the endless benefits it brings those in need. You’re an adult with many things on your plate, but one who gives your spare time to those in need.
September long weekend is summer’s final gift – three days off before fall arrives and the kids journey on to the next school year.
We’re making a huge assumption here when we say we know you’re already a Rebels fan. However, with the team starting training camp next week, a refresher to gear the city up for hockey season isn’t going to hurt, is it?
Summer’s not over til it’s over. However, if you’re a family man (or woman) you’ve got back to school looming at the back of your mind. School supplies, back to school outfits, getting back to routine – it’s all mere weeks away. The good news?
Summer’s here, spirits are flying sky high and the sun’s up till ten. The kids are out of school and you’re thinking of new ways to deal with their extra energy. Kinsmen members don’t meet over the summer either, but there are plenty of opportunities with us to keep your eyes peeled for when September hits.
Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, and prove time and time again that we couldn’t do what we do for the Red Deer community without them.
