Father’s Day is this coming Sunday and in honor of appreciating all that our fathers do, let’s make this one the best yet. From early morning hockey games to being your on-call handy man, our fathers are always there and deserve to be recognized for that. To make sure this weekend is spent creating special memories shared amongst your whole family, we have come up with five Red Deer activities to do this weekend with your dad.
What: Rotary Picnic Park
Rotary Picnic Park has something for everyone, making it one of the most popular parks in Red Deer. Thanks to the park's many amenities: numerous picnic tables, fire pits, park shelter, Piper “Mountain”, Waskasoo trails, playground and washroom facilities, Rotary Picnic Park is the perfect place to have a picnic and spend the day outdoors.
Where: 43 Street and 48 Avenue
What: Heritage Lanes Joke Battle Night 2
Share a laugh with dad this Sunday. This event includes multiple comics going head-to-head. Each comic will do a three-minute set on a topic that they had one to two weeks to prepare for.

Take part in three guided bike rides. Enjoy a free BBQ and enter to win an amazing prize.
