Students are you interested in a Kin Canada Bursary?
Financial assistance is available to students in their quest for higher learning at a recognized university, community college, technical institute or other post-secondary institution for advanced education. The Endowment Fund awards $1,000 bursaries to successful applicants.
Kin Canada Bursaries are awarded based on the following:
- Financial Need
- Community and Volunteer Involvement
- Knowledge of/Experience with Kinsmen and Kinettes

When requesting any sort of assistance from the Red Deer Kinsmen, please include as much information as possible.
For organizations, we would like current financial statements, as well as a detailed letter describing your needs, and how you will use any money donated to you. Also include any other related information such as quotations, project plans, specification sheets, or any other relevant information.
For families and individuals, please include your most recent Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment, (from your Income Tax Return) as well as a detailed letter describing your needs, and how you will use any money donated to you. If your request is educational, try and include a letter from an educational professional indicating your specific needs. If your request is medical, please try to include a letter from a medical professional indicating your specific needs. Also try to include at least 3 different competitive quotations if looking for funding for any merchandise, equipment, or any other types of goods or services.
No request is too small!
We try our best to help out individuals in our community as much as possible. We understand that although there are hundreds of programs out there to help people in need, there are still people whose needs cannot be met by any of these programs. We will always strive to Serve our Community's Greatest Need.
